The article “Mollie Tibbets’ accused killer pleads not guilty” , is obviously about the murder of Iowa University student Mollie, but it also delves into the controversial topic of illegal immigration.                 This article connects to me and my life, because I am a citizen of Iowa, and this was a horrific event that occurred close to where I live. I remember when the press initially informed us of Tibbets’ kidnapping, that my mother became worried to send my older sister off to college and became wary to let her run alone. Kayla story is special because it’s hers , so let’s just dive right in.                 Kayla has many talents, but one of her most notable is that she is fluent in German. As we well know, German is a harsh language and seems difficult to learn, but Kayla has accomplished this from the help of her grandfather. Her grandfather was originally from Ge...
